Hollie is the salon owner and has over 18 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry. She has worked for prestigious hair company Toni & Guy and has experience in lecturing and assessing hairdressing apprentices. Hollie has also taught hairdressing and barbering in the local college attaining outstanding success rates with her students.
Hollie has over 17 years experience within the Hairdressing and Barbering industry. Having worked and trained at Toni & Guy, Hollie has a vast knowledge of technical and creative skills, ready to make you feel fabulous!
Coming from an art and design background, our senior stylist Karen retrained in hairdressing after starting a family. As one of Hollie’s students, Karen gained her level 2 qualification to start a new career in hairdressing.
A perfectionist at heart, Karen wanted to refine and further develop her skills to an advanced level so subsequently continued her training to complete her level 3 qualification. While training Karen had some success entering competitions, competing in colour and hair up categories.
Karen has developed a passion for curly hair and has received Curl-by-Curl™ training at Spring in Birmingham. Karen can also fit extensions and loves to create rich, multidimensional colours to complement her client’s natural beauty.
Nicole left school in 2017 and went into learning hairdressing in 2018. Going into an apprenticeship for 3 years to achieve her qualifications, qualifying in 2021. Nicole has just over 3 years salon experience. Nicole's top favourite things to do with hair is all types of colouring from highlights, full head colours to vibrant Bright's. She also has passion for hair ups for proms, parties, weddings, and enjoys long hair restyles adding layers to create a bouncy style.
On Saturday 30th July, The Platinum Lounge will be holding a fundraiser for Florence.
